One of Wi’am Team, Amira, has attended “Youth Contributions for Dialogue and Change”, from 28-30/6/2012. It is the first preparatory meeting that was held by the ALF in the buildup of the next Anna Lindh Forum, that will take place in Marseille between the 4th and 7th April 2013. The meeting aimed at contributing to the development of the program of the ALF Forum by articulating a youth perspective on the social, cultural, economic and political challenges of the Euro-Mediterranean region and to explore the contribution that young people can give to the promotion of intercultural dialogue and social change. The Meeting was organized in cooperation with the three Heads of the Anna Lindh Network in Turkey: the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), the System and Generation Association (S&G) and the Association of Civil Society and Development Institute.
Amira was the reporter of her group and has given a presentation for one of the suggested projects that talks about how to motivate people in the euro-med area to dialogue to decrease the socio-culture gap in these two areas.
The Anna Lindh Foundation is an international organization shared by 42 countries with the purpose of bringing people together and promoting intercultural dialogue among the two shores of the Mediterranean.
